Tandoori Tofu Flatbread
The tandoori tofu, creamy raita and hot honey make for a burst of flavor you don’t want to miss!
Servings: 6-8
Ingredients:
Marinade:
- ½ cup yogurt 
- 2 tsp chili powder 
- 2 tsp paprika powder 
- 2 tsp onion powder 
- 2 tsp coriander powder 
- 2 tsp cumin powder 
- 1½ tsp garam masala powder 
- 1 tsp black pepper 
- ½ turmeric powder 
- ½ tsp salt 
- 1 tsp minced ginger 
- 2 tsp minced garlic (or 4 cloves minced) 
- 1 tbsp chickpea flour 
- 1 tsp lemon juice 
- 1 tbsp oil 
Raita:
- ½ cup yogurt 
- ½ long english cucumber, shredded and liquid squeezed out 
- 1 tomato, remove the inside, finely diced 
- 1 tsp chili powder 
- ½ tsp salt 
- 1½ tsp garlic powder 
- 1½ tsp onion powder 
- 1½ black pepper 
Other:
- 2 packages of extra firm tofu 
- Hot honey 
- Flatbreads or Naan 
Directions:
- Press tofu to remove excess liquid then tear apart into small pieces 
- In a large mixing bowl, mix the ingredients for the marinade 
- Add the tofu in and coat evenly and let marinate for 3 hours 
- Once marinated, pan fry or air fry until golden and crispy 
- Prepare the raita by mixing the ingredients listed 
- To assemble, lightly toast the flatbread and spread a dollop of raita on top 
- Add the tofu and drizzle with hot honey 
- Optionally garnish with cilantro
