Hot Honey Arrabbiata Pasta
You’ll never buy pasta sauce after making this super quick and fresh, hot honey infused, arrabbiata with the perfect hints of sweet and spicy!
Servings: 4-6
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp olive oil 
- 1 tbsp minced garlic 
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper 
- 6 oz can tomato paste 
- 28 oz can crushed tomatoes 
- 3 tbsp hot honey 
- 1 tsp sugar 
- ½ tsp salt 
- 1 tsp black pepper 
- 12 oz pasta (I like to use bowties for this) 
Directions:
- Heat a pan on medium heat and add 2 tbsp of olive oil 
- Add garlic and crushed red pepper and let cook for 2-3 minutes 
- Add tomato paste and crushed tomatoes cook down for 8-10 minutes 
- Cook pasta according to package directions 
- Add hot honey, sugar, salt and pepper and continue to cook for another 3-4 minutes 
- Optional: for a smoother consistency use an immersion blender to pulse down some of the sauce to be less chunky 
- Add in cooked pasta 
- Optional: top with parmesan
