Bang Bang Broccoli
This is my take on Planta Queen’s ‘Bang Bang Broccoli’ - a great balance of sweet, spicy and crispy that will surely leave you wanting more!
Servings: 6
Ingredients:
- 1 large head of broccoli, cut into florets 
- ¾ cup all purpose flour 
- ¼ cup corn starch 
- 1 cup seltzer water 
- 2 cups Panko breadcrumbs 
Bang Bang Sauce:
- ½ cup vegan Mayo 
- ⅓ cup sweet chili sauce 
- ¼ cup sriracha 
- ½ tsp garlic powder 
- 1 tsp chili powder 
- Pinch of salt and pepper 
- 2 tbsp water 
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees Farenheit 
- Prepare batter by mixing flour, corn starch and seltzer water and whisk together 
- Coat the florets in the batter then coat with panko and place on a baking sheet 
- Repeat with the rest of the broccoli 
- Bake for 18 minutes 
- Meanwhile, prepare sauce by vegan mayo, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, pepper and water 
- Remove broccoli from oven and coat the florets in sauce 
- Serve hot and enjoy!
